I watched a Ted Ex video the other day about chat walks. Taking your business meetings and making them outside meetings. Inspired by this talk, one has only to think about some of the following items: decide on the location of the walk the length of time available to walk who you will meet with what you will discuss and the weather of course. The amount of stress alone saved in taking a chat walk is worth its weight in gold. Your financial health is often linked closely to your sense of self-worth and social positioning. Social economics and how one perceives their status in society is often an underlying emotional trigger waiting to go off. Life and writing – beautiful metaphors. I wholeheartedly enjoy the ability to write and create my own materials in any situation I find myself in. Sure, I can write for the other guy, but when it’s just for my own pleasure, I like to give myself the opportunity to research and design materials based on my own creative needs, my own passions. Really great guy, a family man, well respected for his work with the school district. I heard someone say that you can’t teach others humanitarian behaviors, I disagree. Humanitarian Acts & Community Volunteers – If you keep hitting at the heart, at some point that heart is going to react. At what point it begins to react, that is the question. It is similar to teaching children to share in the sandbox. Eventually, they learn to play together. Same with volunteering – the more you do it, the more you enjoy it.
