Humanitarian Acts & Community Volunteers
I heard someone say that you can’t teach others humanitarian behaviors, I disagree. Humanitarian Acts & Community Volunteers – If you keep hitting at the heart, at some point that heart is going to react. At what point it begins to react, that is the question. It is similar to teaching children to share in the sandbox. Eventually, they learn to play together. Same with volunteering – the more you do it, the more you enjoy it. Here is a tricky question to consider. What if I told you to guide or get out of the way? Would it have sounded better, if I had said lead or get out of the way? Truthfully,…
Humanitarian Giving – If it isn’t fun, you’re doing it wrong.
Humanitarian Giving – If it isn’t fun, you’re doing it wrong. There is a number of articles out there about giving to charities, Humanitarian Giving. In fact, they feel so bad about themselves and their plight in society, that they want to make everyone around them feel just as miserable. They like to control, their bossy, whiny, vindictive, and they want to be YOUR friend. Don’t pay the ransom – I escaped! I escaped from the “meh” mindset – and so can…
How to keep from falling behind, when you are already ahead – STOP
How to keep from falling behind, when you are already ahead – Stop. A lot of us live our lives like this. Meeting deadlines, negotiating deals, setting up operations or systems. Once you are caught up and on track, you still sense a little nagging thought in the back of your mind that says “I gotta keep going”. “I can’t relax”.
