New Adventures Ahead
I look forward to the new adventures ahead. Made a lot of changes to the site and have revamped the platform. Transitioning away from design work and content management, and more into doing my own thing. Being able to write again and express my views openly, free of restraints and any conflicts of interest. I have a spine! My freedom, and my choices, are important for me. Stay tuned! JB Radcliff Amazon Author Store
Being mindful of personal space online
Personal Space & Social Media. Being mindful of your personal space, especially when it comes to social media is key to balancing times of rest. It can become a difficult and discouraging situation, if your only personal connections are the same as your work connections. You can still be friends and work together comfortably without being locked into a social media space. It’s okay. Setting boundaries. Social Advocacy – Be the Solution
The end goal needs to be written first. It all comes back to a backward-design process. A process that helps professionals be able to make the best decisions. Decisions that will provide someone else with the best possible outcome for life. SOCIAL ADVOCACY Social advocacy is a process. Often, it is the humanitarian that we have to train first. We train them to be able to make meaningful referrals, and why we make them. It may take time, but by learning why, who, and when to make referrals, you may save a life. You guard your community. While my background is inconsequential, I do understand enough to know when to…
Learning Environments – Comfort Zones & The Sound Experience | Ambience Masking

It is always helpful to understand a little about the difference between environments before designing your educational or working spaces. –Offices -Cubicles -Open office -Hot desking. I would have to add one more to this list -Learning Environment, the classroom Learning Environment – a shift – moving the comfort zone I recall a trimester I filled in for a high school instructor who sailed off into oblivion, never to be seen again. A lot led up to a couple new designs that I would…
The year is 1982, and my little family was green before green was cool
The year is 1982, and my little family was green before green was cool. Fast-forward to today, I wonder if our ideas and what we learned in the early 80’s could outlast the years. I thought so. If nothing else, it would get those creative juices flowing for those who like to tinker with new ideas. We were green before green was cool. We were green before green was cool. As I have aged, I’ve been judged for a lot of things – one being that I’m not an environmentalist. I think too “locally” to ever be a true environmentalist. I’m too old school. That term environmentalist (or conservationist) unfortunately, has been…
