It’s Five O’clock SomewhereExcuse me as I juggle my way through the morning. First thing in the door I hear “we need this, have you heard from such and such, and don’t forget”. Put Your Busy Bully On Notice Nearly every office has one, that person who, for some reason, keeps things stirred up. Whether it is a need for power or control, who knows? What they manage to do is have others begin to doubt their own skills and abilities. Endorsements or Smoke and Mirrors? In the real world I’m not sure LinkedIn skills and endorsements really matter unless you have the actual degree and/or years of experience behind you. Just copying some cool and trendy vocabulary that you think “might” match your talents, can be costly to you in the end.
